A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Questions about
managing your VPS.

Know what you’re connecting,
what you’re paying for,
and what’s coming next.

What is DOCKOCK?+

DOCKOCK is a DevOps control platform for infrastructure you own. Its direction connects VPS management, deployments, domains, private email, and multi-server orchestration in one workspace.

Can I use a VPS I already own?+

Yes. The product includes a bring-your-own VPS connection flow. Supported operations require a reachable, compatible server, verified identity, the appropriate access, and enough capacity.

How will domain configuration work?+

Add your domain and change its nameservers at your registrar to the values assigned by DOCKOCK. After delegation is verified, the planned system manages the required DNS records, application routing, and HTTPS. Authoritative DNS automation is still on the roadmap.

Can I combine several VPS instances into a cluster?+

That is the planned Kubernetes experience. Eligible servers will form a cluster with reviewed node roles, networking, and workload placement. Kubernetes workload deployment and the full cluster join lifecycle are not currently available.

Are microservices the same as a cluster?+

Microservices divide an application into smaller services, such as a web frontend, API, and workers. A cluster is a group of servers working together. Kubernetes can schedule those services across a cluster; small applications can also run services on a single VPS.

Can DOCKOCK manage email for my domain?+

The planned private email lifecycle covers a suitable mail server, domain records, and mailbox management. Current implementation includes mail-system awareness; automatic installation and complete lifecycle management are unfinished.

Can I sign up and deploy today?+

Public registration and public builds are currently disabled. Explore the product tour and capability guide to see the implemented foundations and planned workflows.

What is included in the price?+

Hobby, Pro and Scale cover your workspace and the listed server and project allowances. One application and its services count as one project. Infrastructure and optional services are separate; contact sales for more capacity.

Can I buy a VPS through DOCKOCK?+

VPS purchasing is a planned add-on. The provider has not been selected and purchasing is disabled. The bring-your-own VPS path remains the foundation of the platform.
